Winterized Summer Shake

This is a tropical summer in the midst of winter. I love shakes, smoothies, however you want to call them and I have them every day. To heat things up in the coldest of days, this blend rocks...

This alkaline shake is full of nutrients and vitamins, including vitamin C, probiotics, warming and anti-inflammatory powers and will supply you with ample calm energy.

As always everything is optional! You do you!

1 organic Banana

1 cup organic pineapple

1 cup raw coconut water

1.5 tbsp spoon organic coconut yogurt

1 date

1 or 1⁄2 tsp maca

1 or 1⁄2 tsp ashwagandha

1⁄2 tsp cinnamon

Fresh ginger root- about 1⁄2 pinkie size or more it all depends on how much heat you need

( no fresh ginger? use about 1⁄2 tsp organic ginger powder )

Fresh turmeric - can be larger than ginger. Up to you!

Blend all ingredients in your best blender and enjoy!

If both fruits aren’t frozen then add a bit of ice. If both are frozen, you may want to blend it twice:-)
